Anthony and Davida Artis invite you to engage in the world of African-American Art through AAArtBC.

This African-American Art Business Class introduces black history, notable artists, and the business side of the art world using children's literature, DVDs, and African-American artworks. The class also shares overarching business concepts, reference materials, and trends regarding the genre and art market. This course will ultimately teach you how to buy, sell, and collect African-American artwork!

 

The time commitment is 1.5 - 2  hours per session for 4 total sessions. This class can be hosted virtually as well as on-site at various locations throughout Michigan and is very flexible based on the students needs.

No prior knowledge is required. Participating students come eager, open, and ready to learn.  All materials are provided. 

The registration cost to attend AAArtBC is $250 per person.
